Some partnerships come together naturally because they are built on a shared understanding of the yachting world and its relationship with the environment.

Mercanautic and Fundació Joves Navegants share more than a connection to the sea. Both were founded in Mallorca in 1992 and, from different areas of the maritime world, have built their paths around a culture of care, responsibility and creating new opportunities.

Mercanautic was founded on an idea that was pioneering at the time: recovering marine equipment, extending its useful life and putting it back into circulation. Today, that philosophy remains at the heart of its business through new, outlet and pre-owned marine equipment.

This way of understanding the industry is also at the heart of its support for Fundació Joves Navegants.

Opening up access to the sea

For the Foundation, bringing the sea closer to more people requires much more than having boats available. Every trip involves a crew, maintenance, educational resources, equipment and the structure needed to ensure that our activities can continue over time.

Mercanautic’s contribution directly supports that continuity.

Their support allows us to continue developing sailing experiences across the Mediterranean for children, young people, older people and those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the sea, using sailing as a tool for learning, connection and personal growth.
