Recognition That Reflects the Impact We Want to Create

Our collaboration with Lafiore responds to a specific need: to recognise, in an honest and meaningful way, those who make the work of Fundació Joves Navegants possible.

This collaboration gave rise to the glass heart, a piece created to recognise the donations and contributions of our partners and collaborators. More than a symbolic object, it is a tangible expression of our shared commitment to the Mediterranean.

The concept was developed closely with Sonia, Head of Communications at Lafiore, through a clear and collaborative process from the very beginning. Her involvement was key to creating a piece with genuine meaning, ensuring that it reflected both the value of the partnership and the principles we share. Working together on site allowed us to refine the design, materials and message down to the smallest detail.

From a sustainability perspective, the heart is made of glass, a 100% recyclable material that can be recycled repeatedly without losing its quality. This is particularly important as it supports a circular approach to the use of materials. The production process also prioritises durability over obsolescence, resulting in a piece designed to last.

The iron base follows the same principles. Strong, reusable and long-lasting, it provides stability while avoiding temporary or single-use solutions.

This collaboration does more than provide a meaningful form of recognition. It helps us build a culture of gratitude and visibility around those who actively contribute to the Foundation’s work. Behind every project at sea is a network of support that also deserves to be recognised.

Ultimately, this partnership goes far beyond the object itself. It helps reinforce an approach in which recognition can also be responsible, and where every detail, from the materials to the production process, reflects the impact we want to create.
