“Vivir de cara al mar” Exhibition
On 10 May, RCD Mallorca, MARE, Marilles Foundation and Fundació Joves Navegants came together at Son Moix to present “Vivir de cara al mar”, an exhibition exploring the deep connection between the people of the Balearic Islands and the sea that surrounds them.

It is a bond that brings together identity, place and community. Just as RCD Mallorca represents a particular way of feeling and experiencing the island, the Mediterranean is part of our collective memory, even when we are far from the coast.
The exhibition was also created following circular production principles, using recycled materials and environmentally friendly inks. The exhibition structures were made from timber recovered from trees damaged by caps de fibló and crafted by @amarar_tramuntana, giving these materials a new life while reinforcing the project’s commitment to the local environment and the islands.

Throughout the day, the exhibition invited visitors to reflect on the importance of protecting a sea that is deeply rooted in our identity and in the way we experience life in the Balearic Islands.
